The rivalry between coaches on continues.
During , Blake jokingly tore into Kelly when was highlighting her experience as back in 2002. Speaking to Blake, , and , Carson reminded the three coaches that Kelly has "won a show just like this" and that "arguably, she knows more about this than any of you."
Of course, Carson's defense of Kelly didn't sit too well with Blake, who is quite proud of the fact that he's won seven times. Right away, the country singer clapped back, joking that he "wasn't impressed" with Kelly and pointing out, without mentioning by name, that the show got canceled ( was canceled in 2016 on Fox but was picked up again by ABC in 2018).
What's more, according to Blake took things one step further and quipped during the evening that Kelly couldn't "complete her team" and was a "terrible coach." Well, dang!

also underscores how much they love poking fun at one another. After contestant Peter Mroz took the stage, it became clear that Blake didn't recognize him as a former bandmate from his days performing with The Young Riders. Kelly, of course, seized on the moment.
"Are you, are you serious?" Kelly shouted at Blake while laughing from her red swivel chair. "You were in a group with him, and he doesn't remember you?!"
We have a feeling these two are going to be taking lighthearted shots at each other all season long. All we can say is Nick and John better be careful getting caught in the crossfire — after all, Kelly and Blake might just be the new Adam and Blake.
