Carrie Underwood pays tribute to Dolly Parton in ACM performance

Carrie Underwood paid tribute to country music legends at the 55th Academy of Country Music Awards. She performed a medley of hits in honor of Dolly Parton, Patsy Cline, and other influential female artists. Carrying the legacy forward as a member of the Grand Ole Opry, Underwood dazzled in a red floral gown and celebrated the Opry's 95th anniversary. She beat out male nominees to win Entertainer of the Year, tying with Thomas Rhett for the prestigious award. The show was moved from Las Vegas to Nashville without a live audience due to the pandemic.
