New 312 Comedy Festival is coming to Chicago this fall

A new comedy festival is coming to Chicago this fall, headlined by Nate Bargatze, Russell Peters, John Crist, Nicole Byer and others.

The inaugural 312 Comedy Festival will play multiple venues including the Chicago Theatre, the Allstate Arena, the Rosemont Theatre and Zanies Comedy Club locations. Currently announced shows run Oct. 27 to Nov. 5.

The 312 Comedy Festival is being produced by Outback Presents and Chicago-based Jam Productions. Outback Presents also is behind the Nashville Comedy Festival and is co-owned by Brian Dorfman, an owner of the Nashville Zanies.

Also on the lineup of some 20 acts announced so far: Franco Escamilla, Ari Shaffir, the Wait Wait … Don’t Tell Me Comedy Tour, Maggie Winters, Leslie Liao, Jeff Ross and Dan Cummins.
