His performance included nostalgic video screens, neon signs, and some boot-stomping dance partners. As the stage lit up around him, Shelton got the night started with the upbeat, honky tonk tune.
“Don’t wanna scoot the boots with nobody/Get straight tequila drunk on nobody/Wrap these arms around nobody/No body, but yours/Don’t wanna shadows dance with nobody/Slide some cotton off of nobody/Don’t wanna wake up kissing nobody/No body, but yours,” he sings in the chorus.
The music video takes Shelton and listeners down memory lane as he adds to the throwback country sound with the return of his classic mullet and cowboy hat. Shelton used to sport this look at the start of his career, back in the early 2000s. This time, the hairstyle was only a wig, but it did remind Shelton of why he cut it off in the first place.
“This song in particular takes me back to the ‘90s when I was in high school and first moved to Nashville because it feels like what the music sounded like at that time,” he wrote on social media.
“No Body” follows his 2021 single, “Come Back as a Country Boy,” which is featured on the deluxe version of the full project released that year, .

Later on, Clarkson shared some mixed feelings she has about her fellow coach leaving the show.
“I can’t stand him, but I love him,” she joked. “He is the ultimate coach on this show, everybody knows that. It’s a loss for but also, it’s a gain for humanity, because you get to see less of him.”
