Following his performance, McGraw spoke with GMA’s Lara Spencer to discuss the album and his upcoming tour. He revealed that the project had been in the works for the past three years and expressed his satisfaction with its release, stating that it felt "good to finally have it out."

McGraw explained that the inspiration behind the album came during his touring hiatus in 2020, when live concerts were no longer possible. Rather than dwelling on the difficult times, he channeled his energy into writing music that would bring positivity and brightness to the world. The result is a collection of life-affirming songs with meaningful messages about personal growth.

The album showcases McGraw's signature country sound, showcasing his charming vocals and meaningful lyrics. In a previous press release, he described it as one of the best projects he has ever made, emphasizing his constant drive to improve as an artist.

Fans had a preview of the album through early released tracks like "Hey Whiskey," "Remember Me Well," and the title track, which has been steadily climbing the Billboard and Mediabase radio charts since its release in March.
