Country music star Jason Aldean has thrilled fans with the surprise announcement of his 11th studio album, HIGHWAY DESPERADO, along with the release of a new song titled "Let Your Boys Be Country." The album, set to be released on November 3, 2023, follows Aldean's successful double 10th studio album, MACON, GEORGIA.
Aldean revealed that the title of the album was inspired by his recent sold-out headlining arena tour and his early years as a touring artist. He explained, "I built my career early on my live show, and have been on the road touring since I was 18 years old. For us, touring is our favorite part.
The HIGHWAY DESPERADO album consists of 14 tracks, including the title track which Aldean co-wrote. He also had a hand in writing two other songs on the album. The album features his chart-topping single "Try That In A Small Town" and the previously released track "Tough Crowd."
In addition to the album announcement, Aldean released a new song, "Let Your Boys Be Country," which is a heartfelt anthem encouraging mothers to let their sons embrace the country lifestyle.
The HIGHWAY DESPERADO Tour, which shares its name with the album, is currently underway and will continue until October 28. Aldean will be performing at various venues across the United States and Canada, including stops in Jacksonville, Florida, and Orange Beach, Alabama.
Fans are eagerly anticipating the release of HIGHWAY DESPERADO and are excited to hear the new songs from one of country music's biggest stars. With Aldean's signature sound and heartfelt lyrics, the album is sure to be a hit among his loyal fan base.
