Miranda Lambert had to pull the plug on Thursday's show at the Bakkt Theater at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas due to vocal cord problems.

Earlier in the day, the country crooner took to social media and issued a statement, revealing that she has been placed on vocal rest by her doctor and is unable to perform at this time.

The show was part of the latest leg of the Miranda Lambert: Velvet Rodeo The Las Vegas Residency that's slated to run five more shows through April 9.

'Hey y'all, I have been under a doctor's care all day to see if things improved, however unfortunately I've been put on vocal rest and we have to cancel out show tonight,' she wrote in a statement posted on Instagram and Twitter.
