The news was confirmed by ESPN's College GameDay on their social media account. The new version of the song will be released on Saturday, September 2. This comes after Big & Rich, who were the previous voices of the theme song, announced that they would not be returning for the upcoming season. College GameDay will begin its 37th season and 30th season on the road on September 2.
