Miranda Lambert continues to make ACM History. On Thursday, April 13, The Academy of Country Music announced the nominees for the 58th Academy of Country Music Awards, and Lambert earned five nods.

She earned her record-breaking 17th Female Artist of the Year nomination (passing Reba McEntire with 16), as well as four other nominations, including Entertainer of the Year, Artist-Songwriter of the Year, and Album of the Year for her project, Palomino, which she also co-produced alongside Jon Randall, Luke Dick and Mikey Reaves.

In total, Lambert's five nominations give her the opportunity to break more records following her Triple Crown Award that was presented to her at ACM Honors in the fall. The Triple Crown Award is awarded to an artist after they receive the ACM Awards for New Artist Of The Year, Female or Male Artist Of The Year, and Entertainer Of The Year.

At the 2022 ACM Awards ceremony, the "Actin' Up" singer accepted her first-ever win for Entertainer of the Year virtually from C2C Festival in Europe. This year, Lambert is vying for the highest award alongside fellow nominees, Kane Brown, Jason Aldean, Luke Combs, Chris Stapleton, Carrie Underwood, and Morgan Wallen.

The winners will be announced during the upcoming spring ceremony.

Dolly Parton and Garth Brooks are set to co-host the 58th Academy of Country Music Awards, which will take place on Thursday, May 11. 

The 2023 ACM Awards will make history with its iconic host pairing and marks the first time Brooks will host an awards show. Brooks' co-hosting gig comes ahead of the launch of his much-anticipated Las Vegas residency and following his wildly successful world tour, which sold more than 6.3 million tickets. It was the biggest North American tour in history. 

"Country Music's Party of the Year" will stream live exclusively on Prime Video from Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas.

Parton previously hosted the Academy Of Country Music Awards in March 2022 and May 2000.

"I am thrilled to return to host the ACM Awards, this time with my friend Garth," Parton shared. "While I've had the pleasure of spending time with him throughout the years, I can't believe we've never had the chance to work together."

The 58th Academy of Country Music Awards will take place on May 11, 2023, and broadcast live from Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas via Prime Video at 8/7c. The show will also stream the next day for free on Amazon Freevee. 

Additionally, the Academy of Country Music Awards was established in 1966 and is the longest-running country music awards show. The vent made history in 2022 as the first major awards show to exclusively livestream. 

This year, the show will return to Texas for the first time since the milestone 50th ACM Awards, which broke a Guinness World Record in 2015 for being the most-attended awards show with more than 70,000 attendees at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, TX.
